Tim Wood, an ex-crime reporter for 25 years working at the Royal Cours of Justice, gave us an excellent tour of the London Law Courts including the Royal Courts of Justice, Lincoln’s Inn and the Old Bailey. After lunch at a local pub, a number of us took up the opportunity to visit the Old Bailey afternoon session viewed from the visitors gallery to see a murder trial in progress. There were 42 attendees and no one was left at the Old Baily in the dock.
